Day 2
Explore Vienna – The Imperial Capital
- After breakfast, set out to discover Vienna’s rich imperial heritage and artistic treasures. Visit the magnificent Schönbrunn Palace and its landscaped gardens, the former summer residence of the Habsburg dynasty. Continue to the Hofburg Palace, once the imperial winter residence, and see the State Opera House and Belvedere Palace. Vienna to Budapest (Coach or Train Transfer)
- After breakfast, check out and transfer to the train or coach station for your journey to Budapest, Hungary’s enchanting capital (mode of transport subject to real-time availability). Arrive in Budapest and check in to your hotel. Spend your evening along the Danube Promenade, enjoying the views of Buda Castle and the illuminated Chain Bridge, or unwind in one of the city’s famous thermal baths. Overnight in Budapest.

Discover Budapest – The Pearl of the Danube
- After breakfast, embark on a full-day exploration of Budapest. Start on the Buda side with visits to Buda Castle, Matthias Church, and Fisherman’s Bastion for panoramic views across the river. Cross over to the Pest side to explore Heroes’ Square, St. Stephen’s Basilica, and the impressive Hungarian Parliament Building. Return Flight to the UK
