Day 1

Fly from the UK to Zurich – Train to Interlaken

Depart from your chosen UK airport and fly to Zurich, Switzerland’s largest city and international gateway to the Alps. Upon arrival, take a scenic Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) train to Interlaken, nestled between the sparkling lakes Thun and Brienz, with the snow-capped peaks of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau towering above. After checking into your hotel, take a leisurely stroll through the charming Höheweg Promenade, lined with boutique shops, cafés, and alpine vistas. Enjoy a relaxing evening meal overlooking the mountains or lakeside. Overnight in Interlaken.

Day 2

Interlaken – Optional Excursion to Jungfraujoch, “Top of Europe”

After breakfast, enjoy a day of alpine adventure or relaxation. Optional Excursion: Board the Jungfrau Railway via Lauterbrunnen or Grindelwald to reach Jungfraujoch, Europe’s highest railway station (3,454 m). Experience breathtaking views from the Sphinx Observation Terrace, explore the Ice Palace, and marvel at the Aletsch Glacier, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Return to Interlaken in the afternoon and unwind at your leisure. In the evening, enjoy traditional Swiss cuisine such as cheese fondue or raclette at a local restaurant. Overnight in Interlaken.

Day 3

Scenic Train Journey to Lucerne via the Brünig Pass

After breakfast, depart Interlaken by Luzern–Interlaken Express, one of Switzerland’s most picturesque train routes. Enjoy panoramic views as you cross the Brünig Pass, passing crystal-clear lakes, waterfalls, and alpine meadows. Arrive in Lucerne, a storybook lakeside city framed by mountains. Spend your afternoon exploring the Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke) and Water Tower, stroll along the Old Town’s cobblestone streets, and visit the Lion Monument. In the evening, enjoy dinner with views over Lake Lucerne, or take an optional lake cruise for a magical experience at sunset. Overnight in Lucerne.
