Fly from UK airport to Delhi
- Welcome to Delhi! Following customs, immigration formalities and baggage collection, our representative will meet you as you exit the arrival terminal building, after which you will be transferred to your hotel for 1 night stay. Check-in at 1400 hrs
Day 2
Private shared transfers from Delhi to Agra
- Morning: Sightseeing tour of Old Delhi Old Delhi is the 300-year-old walled city built by Emperor Shah Jehan in 1648 as his capital and named after him. Visit the magnificent Red Fort (closed on Monday) built of red sandstone. Drive past Kotla Firoze Shah, ruins of an old fort of the 14th century with the 13 meters high Ashoka Pillar of 3rd BC. Visit Raj Ghat, where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948. Evening : Upon arrival at Agra check in at the hotel for 1 night stay. Visit Taj Mahal, referred to as one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal is the epitome of love, built in white marble by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal.
